Our Care-Givers

Feros Care’s recipient-centred approach to care involves the recruitment of compassionate professional care-givers that have a passion for working with the aged and people with a disability and who see it as a privilege to do so.

There are currently over 170 staff members employed by Feros Care who work in partnership with a dedicated team of 60 Volunteers.

All prospective and new employees must complete an extensive hiring process with formal interviews, professional reference checks and criminal record screening. Once hired, care-givers participate in a comprehensive orientation program that includes seven star service delivery training and contemporary techniques in personal care, manual handling and communication which are reinforced through mandatory training session.

Professional and personal development is an integral part of innovative and exceptional service provision at Feros Care and all care-givers and volunteers are encouraged to take advantage of these opportunities.
