Feros Village Byron Bay was recently honoured with a Highly Commended Award from Aged Care Services Australia, a national peak body representing over 1,200 church and charitable and community based organisations. This award was presented as a result  of Feros Village  being a finalist in the Aged & Community Services Australia’s 2007 Organisation Award. The judges determined that Feros Village should be acknowledged with a Highly Commended Award for excellent services in residential aged care.

This National Award recognises Feros Village Byron Bay for their leadership and innovation in combining the implementation of the Eden Alternative (reducing the plagues of loneliness, boredom and helplessness) and positive workplace philosophies to improve the quality of life of residents and sustaining a positive living culture. Aged Care Services Australia Annual Award for Excellence celebrates best practice, recognises outstanding achievement and promotes continuous improvement in the care and support of older people, and people with disabilities and their carers.  Congratulations to Feros Village Byron Bay on this prestigious award.
