Service Description
Feros Care’s private services provide innovative, high standard and affordable in-home care and support.
Our unique fee-for-service program provides an alternative for those in need of home care and who cannot obtain immediate support from subsidised Government programs.
Care and service plans can be designed to meet almost any need providing practical solutions for seniors who require assistance to remain living at home.
There are no waiting lists and no restrictions on service type or frequency. Services can be provided on a short or long-term basis.

Care Package
Services can include, but are not limited to:
- Comprehensive care planning and ongoing assessments
- Domestic Care
- Personal Care
- Nursing Care
- Wellness and Lifestyle
- Respite Care (day, weekly, weekend and overnight)
- Palliative Care
- Life Link Personal Alarms and Monitoring
- Life Link Telecare Monitoring (emergency response)
- Life Link Telehealth Monitoring (vital signs monitoring)

- use of best practice guidelines to ensure services are targeted and responsive to individual needs

- manicures, hand massages and companionship provided by our friendly volunteers
- counselling and chaplain services
- transport to and from planned Feros Care activities and outings
- assistance with arrangements for regular or planned respite breaks
- priority access to other Feros Care community, respite and residential care services

There are no specific eligibility requirements for this service.

Think about what support you need to continue living at home. What daily living tasks are becoming difficult? Discuss your needs with family and friends to get their opinion. |
RING |
Ring our Aged Care Advisory Team on 1300 763 583. You will be allocated a Feros Care Manager who will assess your needs and discuss how Feros Care can help. Arrangements can also be made to try out the service. |
DECIDE |
Our Feros Care Manager will answer any questions you may have about the service including fees and care planning. Discuss your decision with family and friends. Review the care plan and sign the Care-Recipient Agreement which outlines the terms and conditions of service delivery. |
BOOK |
Book the type of care you need and the frequency with your Feros Care Manager. |
RECEIVE |
Prepare to receive the care you need to stay at home and look forward to an improved quality of life. |
Value Adding
Not applicable because of fee-for-service arrangements.
Affordability
All Feros Care ‘At Home’ services incur a fee.

A direct debit arrangement where fees are deducted monthly from a nominated bank account is the preferred method of payment. Feros Care also accepts credit card, cheques or cash payments (at any Feros office).
