Bequests
Helping others is a very rewarding experience. During the course of our lives we are continually asked to give financially to worthwhile causes but often we are not able to help due to personal financial commitments and restraints. Leaving a gift in your will (see Will and Estate Planning) is one way to make the type of gift that you may not be able to make during your lifetime.
Feros Care is very aware of the need to look after your family first. Once you have done all you can to provide for your family in your will, please consider including Feros Care by making a bequest. Leaving a gift in your will to Feros Care, whatever the size, is one of the most thoughtful ways to benefit the community. It shows forethought, planning and community commitment.
Your bequest (or gift) to Feros Care can take many forms including cash or securities, real estate, life insurance policies, life income plans, annuities or trusts and cultural property such as books or artwork. In turn, your bequest can be used to upgrade facilities, establish new services in areas of unmet need, purchase equipment, fund scholarships and traineeships and trial new models of care delivery aimed at improving health outcomes for the elderly.
If you are considering a bequest to Feros Care, your solicitor will need to include the following clause in your will:
I bequeath (-describe your gift-) to Feros Care Limited for the general purposes of Feros Care; Locked Bag 1, Coolangatta QLD 4225; and declare the signature of the Secretary for the time being, of the said Company to be sufficient for discharge of my Executors.
If you do decide to leave a gift to Feros Care in your will we would love to know about it so that we can thank you personally, keep you informed on the work of Feros Care and answer any questions you may have.
For more information on making a bequest contact the Feros Care Business Centre on (07) 5669 0555 0000 and ask to speak to the Chief Executive Officer.
