Many Australian companies and businesses choose to pledge their support for the charity of their choice. They recognize the importance of supporting local communities and services and prefer to nominate a charity of choice rather than ad-hoc support.

Alternatively, another way to show corporate support is “skill” sharing. For example, a motor vehicle company may choose to support their preferred charity by sponsoring some or all of their vehicles or a marketing company may choose to provide support by enlisting help with marketing expertise.
