We are seeking an Exercise Physiologist to join our team to provide goal focused restorative and reablement programs. These programs help our clients to become stronger, be more independent and have fun whilst improving their overall health and wellbeing.

About the opportunity:

As a member of the Feros Care Community Services team, you will provide innovative mobile assessment, case management and exercise physiology services. This includes a range of exercise physiology programs and services in the homes of our clients, within community, virtually and retirement settings. You will also work collaboratively with Wellbeing Managers, contributing to Home Care Packages.

This position is community-based and will require you to travel to our client’s homes within the Darling Downs region. The role will be offered on a part-time basis with approx. two full days per week expected (Mon/Weds or Fri - however open to discussion). This is anticipated to increase throughout the year.

This role is on an initial 12 month fixed term contract with possibility to renew.


What you’ll be up to:

  • Developing individualised service delivery and support plans that respect each client's right to take dignified risks
  • Providing the evidenced-based interventions necessary to drive positive health outcomes while achieving the clients’ personal lifestyle goals
  • Enhancing the quality of life and independence of our clients by delivering evidenced based in-home exercise programs and services including our own Strong Foundations falls prevention program
  • Leading group classes to engage, motivate and develop improved strength, balance and a wellness mindset in the community
  • You will be part of a team Instrumental in undertaking assessments and case management that will contribute to clients becoming stronger, more independent and improving their health and wellbeing
  • Providing post-injury exercise therapy to assist recovery


About you:

  • You will have demonstrated excellence in specialist assessment
  • You enjoy working with clients and their families in their own homes, virtually, in groups and residential settings
  • You think laterally, have positive energy, a good sense of humour, as well as excellent organisational and IT skills
  • You must have a current unrestricted registration with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)
  • You hold an unrestricted Australian driver’s licence and have your own vehicle
  • You have stable internet access
