Occupational Therapist
Australia - QLD, Sunshine Coast

About the Role:

Feros Care has a great opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Sunshine Coast Community Services Team.

This new role has been implemented to support the region with Community demand around;

  • TCP- Transitional Care Program
  • STRC- Short Term Restorative Care Program
  • HCP - Home Care Packages Program

This role will;

  • Be based on the Sunshine Coast.
  • Provide in-home services to our clients.
  • Travel across the region.
  • Be a casual position with the hours starting out at 15-20 hours per week, though this will be reviewed as the service grows.

We are eager to find someone who can work with us to build on this very important service within the Community.  

What you need to apply for the position:

  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Demonstrated excellence in specialist assessment and the delivery of evidenced based Occupational Therapy interventions emphasising environmental home safety and ADL capacity building
  • A genuine interest in the aged care industry
  • Well-developed organisation, negotiation, facilitation and communication skills
  • Well-developed computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and client management software applications
  • Relevant up to date Vaccinations
  • Current unrestricted drivers licence.
