Fearless Films

A collection of inspirational short stories showcasing the surprisingly bold lives of nine Northern Rivers seniors over the age of 75. The innovative initiative between Feros Care and Screenworks aims to challenge stereotypes around aging by telling the stories of a few Australians that are living their later years in life to the fullest. Fearless Films launched on the big screen, at a dedicated red carpet premiere on the 4th of December 2018 in Byron Bay - watch the Fearless Premiere Video.

Following the success of Fearless Films Season One, Fearless Films is back with season two. Fearless Films Season 2 is a collaboration between Feros Care and Screenworks that aspires to challenge traditional views around the lives of people with disability. Six short films showcase fearless Australians living with disability through the eyes of regional filmmakers - bold, daring, and extraordinary, these people smash all disability stereotypes. The mission of Fearless Films is to prove that anyone can be fearless – regardless of age or ability. This collection of short films amplifies the voices of people with disability and strives for broader representation of disability in our culture.

The third season of Fearless premiered on International Day for Older Persons 1 October 2021. It is a collection of six short films that challenge traditional views and stereotypes around ageing by showcasing the stories of senior Australians who are anything but retired. These rockstars of ageing are still giving 100% in their careers or fearlessly volunteering their time for others - all of this at 70 years and over!

Fearless Films Season 4 is an award-winning, all-inclusive film project by Feros Care, made about people living with disability, by people living with disability. Season 4 of Fearless Films launched on 2 December, on the eve of International Day of People with Disability. The series features the stories of six people living with disability who are carving careers for themselves, and who are engaged in meaningful employment – be it entrepreneurial or in a workplace.
