Tai Chair is an eight-session program that aims to increase your upper and lower limb strength, balance, and mobility. It can also help you de-stress, relax, and enjoy living in the moment – all while sitting on a chair!

The program has been designed with falls prevention as a major focus, incorporating gentle movements so easy to learn, you can practice them every day. It can be beneficial for those with long-term health conditions to improve balance and enhance brain and motor function.

Based on the ancient principles of Tai Chi, it teaches breathing techniques to help with relaxation. The exercises are all done while seated – hence the name – allowing you to grow in confidence before taking to your feet.

Tai Chair is designed and led by qualified physiotherapists or exercise physiologists. Your results are also measured at the end of the program, so you can see just how much you have improved!

It’s a gentle, safe, easy, and effective form of exercise to help you live a brighter more holistic life.
