Supporting an easy transition from high school

As your child approaches the final years of high school, it’s important to ensure they have the right support for a smooth transition into adulthood. We invite you to attend an upcoming Feros Care session, where you can access valuable guidance and information on navigating post-school pathways, employment, and NDIS support.

Some key questions to consider:

  • Is your child ready to finish Year 12? Have they explored all their post-school options, including employment, further education, and skill-building programs?
  • Is their NDIS plan in order? Do they have the necessary supports in place to help them achieve their goals?
  • Is your child turning 18 soon? Have you considered how their transition to adulthood will impact their services, funding, and decision-making?
  • Have you become your child’s authorised representative? If they need assistance managing their NDIS plan or other supports, are you formally recognised as their decision-maker after they turn 18?
  • Do you feel your child needs support from the NDIS but don’t know where to start? Understanding and accessing the right supports can be overwhelming, but we’re here to help guide you through the process.

The Feros Care team will be available to provide expert advice, answer your questions, and help you navigate the next steps for your child’s future.
