Feros Care is a partner in the community for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) to help people with disability live healthy, fulfilling and connected lives. As a Local Area Coordinator (LAC), we will work with you to understand what is important to you and connect you to the services that will support you to live the life you want. Your support services are tailored to meet your goals and improve your overall wellbeing.
Linking you to information and support in your community
Feros Care is your Local Area Coordinator in Townsville, Mackay, the ACT, Northern Adelaide and the Barossa Region.
Their job is to help people with disability connect with services and can support them to request access to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) so they can live healthy, happy lives.
Your LAC will listen to you so they know what’s important for you.
- They’ll help you connect with government and community services in your area
- They’ll support you to apply for the NDIS
- They’ll support you to put your NDIS plan into action
You can ask your LAC about the supports available in your community, even if you’re not eligible for an NDIS support plan. Partners delivering LAC services will also work to make your community more welcoming and inclusive.
