Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Pathways

Supporting mob to access supports.

It’s important to truly connect with our communities, and to do so in culturally safe ways.

We want to make sure that Aboriginal, Torres Strait and South Sea Islander community members with disability feel comfortable to access the NDIS.  By working together with local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, we developed our ‘Kinship Model’.

Rather than expecting the community to come to Feros Care, these partnerships allow Feros Care to come to the community. The team spent time listening, learning, and serving these communities to create understanding and trust.

Our teams nationally continue to work with their local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to form relationships and support communities.
