Technologies originally designed for athletes, office workers, and millennials to feel safe at night in New York are being adapted to older people and people with disability so they can live independently and safely in their own homes.
Anthony Bacon, Lifelink Operations Manager said that Lifelink works closely with developers to diversity and adapt their technologies and wearables to meet the needs of seniors and people with disability.
“Many of the solutions we offer to seniors were never created for aged care. By re-purposing smart technologies, we are able to provide a world of possibilities for seniors and people with disability, by helping them feel more confident,” he said.
Anthony caught up with Marnie Roper at Radio 2RPH to discuss the many Lifelink options available for consumers. Listen to the podcast online.
