The Regional Assessment Service (RAS) assists older people who need some basic assistance to stay healthy and living independently at home for long as possible. This includes activities such as house cleaning or shopping.
How do I get basic assistance to stay living independently at home?
Contact My Aged Care contact centre on 1800 200 422, who will organise a home support assessment by the RAS.
A RAS assessor will arrange a time to speak with you face to face and work out what services you need. This could include domestic care, personal care such as showering, and transport to medical appointments or social activities. The RAS assessor will then coordinate services through the local providers in your area.
Feros Care is one of 13 RAS providers in Australia. Our RAS assessors work with you to set up a support plan and coordinate service providers who will best meet your individual needs.
