Say goodbye to stress.  Improve your concentration.  Stay strong.

Tai Chair is an eight session program designed to increase your strength, balance and mobility.  It helps you de-stress, relax and enjoy living in the moment.

The program has a major focus on preventing falls.  Increase your upper and lower limb strength with gentle movements so easy to learn you can practice them every day.

Based on the ancient principles of Tai Chi, the program also teaches breathing techniques to help with relaxation.  What’s more the exercises can be done from a seated position – hence the name – allowing you to grow in confidence before taking to your feet.

Tai Chair is a great way to improve conditioning if you suffer from Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease.  It’s a gentle, safe, easy and effective form of exercise to help you live a brighter life.

What’s involved?

Initially one of our team will drop by and conduct a 1.5 hour assessment to gauge where you’re at before we begin.   Over the following seven sessions, an exercise physiologist or physiotherapist will visit you at home to run the one hour session.   At the end of the program we provide a final report and recommendations.

Is there a cost for the program?
