The Care@Home Basic is a great cost-effective and easy-to-use personal alarm solution. It’s best suited to seniors living alone or in a separate room from their partner or caretaker, so that they have access to emergency response services when no one is immediately around to help.

  • Waterproof emergency pendant with necklace or wristband attachment to notify our emergency centre from anywhere around the home. The standard pendant also comes in a jewellery option.
  • 24/7 emergency response monitoring service to track behaviour and report to family members
  • Installation is easy – no specialists needed, no wires and no drilling. Just plug it in, turn it on, and it’s ready to go. It can even be remotely configured by our staff.

In the case of an emergency, our response centre can be notified by pressing the emergency button either on the unit, or on the pendant, or from a falls activation. One of our team members will communicate through the base unit to assess the situation, and call an ambulance to your home if necessary.

Frequently asked questions

How long does installation take after signing up?
Once we receive your signed paperwork we aim to have your monitoring services installed within five business days subject to available licensed technicians. If you have opted for a mobile base alarm that does not require a technician, we will courier to you within four days.
Do I have to sign up for a minimum period of time?
There is no minimum length of time to have the Feros Care service active. There is, however, a two-week cancellation policy. After this time, we will no longer charge your fortnightly monitoring costs, however rental on hardware will still continue until you have returned all your equipment.
Do I need a landline or a home phone?
Our current alarms operate on mobile network and are not required to connect to your home landline. In rare cases, where mobile coverage is poor, we are able to offer the landline option. If you’re not sure, please feel free to contact us and we can help assess your requirements.
