Important update: your personal emergency alarm upgrade

Telstra’s 3G network will shut down on August 31. Have you upgraded your alarm yet?

We are reaching out with an important update regarding your Feros Care personal emergency alarm product and service.

We have been working closely with our clients with personal emergency alarms to prepare them for the shutdown of Telstra’s 3G network. By now, if you previously had a personal emergency alarm with 3G technology, you should have received a new device with 4G technology.

Please remember to:

  • Step 1: Switch off your OLD alarm.
  • Step 2: Switch on your NEW alarm
  • Step 3: Plug in and test your NEW alarm to ensure it’s functioning correctly.
  • Step 4: Dispose of your OLD alarm properly.

All remaining alarms with 3G technology must be replaced with new 4G alarms by 31 August 2024 to remain fully operational. Please note Telstra’s original deadline of 30 June has been extended.

If you have a personal emergency alarm with 3G technology and it has not been replaced yet, please don’t hesitate to contact our friendly team on 1300 461 461 or message us via myferos.com.au and we will assist you with the transition as soon as possible.

We acknowledge some Feros Care clients may not have been contacted; this is likely because they already have a 4G alarm in place. Rest assured that your alarm is fully compatible with the 4G network.

We remain committed to providing you and your loved ones with the reassurance and peace of mind of a personal emergency alarm.
