Look around. There are plenty of seniors out there showing us how to celebrate ageing, every day.
Feros Care’s latest celebrating ageing initiative, What Sort of Old Do You Want To Be? is a provocative campaign challenging conversations about what it means to grow older in Australia.
You only have to check out the campaign’s fun video, asking people aged from three to 97 what they will aspire to in later years and you will see the general consensus on ageing is that it is a wonderful opportunity to take a fresh look at life.
Feros Care will also be posing the What Sort of Old Do You Want To Be question at this year’s Byron Bay Writers’ Festival from August 5-7.
As event sponsors, Feros Care, will ask festival-goers to take part in a STICK IT – FIGHT AGEISM campaign where patrons can write their thoughts on stickers and stick these onto a What Sort of Old Do You Want To Be wall.
The most provocative thoughts – the ones “sticking it” at stereotypes about ageing, while reminding us what sort of old we want to be – will be in the running for free tickets to next year’s Byron Bay Writers’ Festival.
Thank you to everyone who participated in our STICK IT TO AGEISM Competition on the weekend at the Bryon Writers Festival.
We have a lucky draw winner. Congratulations Clare Wilson, Nerang – who has won a 3 day pass for her and a friend to next years 2017 Byron Writers Festival
