What Is Accessible Housing?

Accessible housing is accommodation with features that enables use by people with a disability. Through the NDIS, you may be able to access funding for home modifications to make your home more accessible, such as the installation of a wheelchair ramp,
a grab rail in the bathroom and ceiling hoists to assist with personal care. Home modifications are included in the capital supports category which covers a broad range of devices, equipment and assistance.

To find out more about the NDIS and how it can help you lead a more independent life, capital supports and home modifications, email Feros Care at [email protected] or call us on 1300 986 970.
