Working with us

Everyone is welcome to join us and live out the Feros Care values.

Our tailored, six-week new starter program consists of facilitator-led sessions, self-directed learning modules and buddy sessions to develop real-life understanding of the role.

Along with monthly ongoing training developed by both Feros Care and the NDIS – which combine skill building and operational updates – and coaching clinics and reflective practice sessions, there is always support available for continued quality improvement.

Our framework is trauma-informed with role specialisation opportunities for mental health and employment, along with professional development topics available across all LAC roles:

  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Vicarious Trauma Training
  • Cultural Capability Experience to support our reconciliation journey

As a not-for-profit, you can rest assured knowing that we’re always giving right back to those who need it most.

ACT Lacs in the community

We actively include, welcome and value the unique contributions of all people. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from Cultural and Linguistically Diverse Backgrounds, and people with disability.

If you would like to discuss accessibility requirements, preferred communication methods or other possibilities please contact [email protected].
