How to pay for your in-home care
Government funded services
Home care services may be accessed through government-funded packages. These packages include different services depending on your needs and eligibility. To apply for a government-funded package, you need to get an assessment through My Aged Care. The two most popular programs are the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP)for entry level care and Home Care Packages (HCP) for more complex needs.
Private services
If you are not eligible for a government-funded package or if you’d like to start receiving services straight away, you can do so by booking services directly through Feros Care.
Private services may be suitable while you’re waiting to get government-funded services approved, if you don’t meet the eligibility requirements, or if you preferred not to get assessed.
