Bangalow Residential Village
In the lead-up to Anzac Day, one of our most important national occasions, our residents at both Wommin Bay and Bangalow Villages gathered for a special service to remember the brave men and women who served our country. It was a time for everyone to come together and pay their heartfelt respects to our heroes, past and present.
Effervescent 83-year-old Feros Care client, Lenore, an ex-nurse and ex aged care volunteer, certainly knows the importance of social interaction – particularly as we age. The lovely Lenore speaks about her experience with our Social Groups as a participant, and with a wider lens due to her background. She explains that they are a great motivator for seniors feeling displaced and seeking fulfillment, with many benefits for overall wellbeing.
