What is the Short-term Restorative Care program?
Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) provides recovery focussed support after a set-back impacting your daily life and activities. You’ll receive specialist knowledge to help you feel strong, healthy, and happy again.
It’s a government-funded program through My Aged Care designed to support you, improve your well-being, and help you regain or retain your independence.

How does the Short-Term Restorative Care program work?
It’s all about you! Your health, your well-being, and helping you to return to what’s important to you, so this flexible care program is completely driven by you. You identify the goals and tell us what you’d like to achieve through your STRC program. Your Wellbeing Manager will then match you with the right health professionals to help you reach those goals. Then, over an eight-week period, we work together to deliver the program in the comfort of your home, or within the community. For example, you may have a goal of improving your physical fitness, so you may work with an Exercise Physiologist who could organise for you to do hydrotherapy at a local pool.
We are passionate about your well-being. Let us help provide the support you need to feel like you again.
