Your gift means we can offer more places in our life changing social programs, such as the Virtual Social Centre, In Great Company, Let’s Get Technical, or Social Prescribing, and to innovate and expand our programs to new groups and new locations. All our programs are co-designed and based on insights from the people who participate, resulting in fresh, innovative ways that really help people out of their loneliness, one by one. We know we can’t tackle loneliness alone. It takes a whole of community approach. Because of you, we can increase our work at a local level, educating, inspiring and activating communities to come together to tackle loneliness in our neighbourhoods, where it lives.

Research
Because of you, we can keep up the important research and work with others to co-design and implement programs that address loneliness in innovative ways, in areas where we can make the biggest impact. Our Loneliness Framework has been developed from almost 300 studies of the loneliness landscape. Your support means we can continually increase our knowledge of loneliness to stay ahead and stop it growing.
Advocacy and education
Because of you, we can continue advocating and educating. To tackle loneliness effectively, governments, organisations, and communities need to work together to change policies, share ideas and pool resources. Your support allows us to drive understanding and partnerships so that we can tackle loneliness together.
How to leave a gift in your Will
Including Feros Care in your Will is very simple. Just follow these simple steps:
Step One
Include loved ones in your decision
Having an up-to-date Will ensures that your estate is given to the people and causes you care about the most.
It is important to talk to the important people in your life about your decision to leave a gift in your Will to Feros Care. This may include loved ones, friends and the Executor of your Will. This is to help them understand and support your decision.
Step Two
Decide on the bequest you would like to give to Feros Care
There are several options you can choose from. Most people like to nominate a gift of a specific dollar amount (Pecuniary or Specific Sum).
You can also consider a residuary gift, leaving the balance of your estate (the residue) after you have made provisions for your loved ones, or a percentage gift where you decide what proportion of your estate you’d like to leave.

Step Three
Record your instructions
Once you have decided the type of gift you would like to make, it’s time to make it official.
If you are doing this in writing, for example to your solicitor, commonly used wording in your Will or as a Codicil to your Will includes:
I give to Feros Care ABN 50 104 452 271, to be applied for the purpose of supporting vulnerable members of our community and/or activities that tackle isolation and loneliness (OR a specific purpose to be stated)
A. the sum of (specified sum) OR
B. the residue of my estate OR
C. (specified percentage) of my estate/residuary estate
free of all duties and taxes and the receipt of the Chief Executive Officer or other authorised officer for the time being shall be a complete and sufficient discharge for the executor(s).
If you already have, or are making an online Will, simply add Feros Care in the section on gifts to charities, along with the amount you’d like to leave.
