Virtual Feros Fridays: The easy way to get answers for NDIS questions

No appointment necessary, and no need to leave your home!

Feros Fridays is a popular initiative across all Feros Care community regions, providing an easy and convenient way for people to enquire about NDIS support.

With no need to make an appointment, it’s as simple as dropping into your local Feros Care office on a Friday between 9am and 4pm* and talking to one of our friendly Local Area Coordinators (LACs).

We’re now making this free service even more accessible by offering Virtual Feros Fridays!

Instead of physically going into one of our offices, you can connect with our Virtual LACs by phone or webchat.

Like in-person Feros Fridays, appointments are not required, with the new virtual option ensuring accurate and easy-to-understand NDIS information is only a phone call or webchat away.

Whilst we are always available during the week to offer support and guidance, extra knowledgeable team members are assembled on Fridays ready to answer your NDIS questions.

Our Virtual LACs care about helping you navigate the NDIS, and pride themselves on making the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.

What sort of information can I access?

You can ask as many or as few questions as you like! Our Virtual LACs assist with a wide variety of enquiries, such as finding out how to access the NDIS, linking you to mainstream and community services, and working with Local Area Coordinators to develop your personalised plan.

They can also help you understand how to use your plan, how to use the myplace Participant Portal, and explain the A to Z of Service Agreements with Service Providers.

Why would I choose virtual over face-to-face?

Virtual Feros Fridays are especially useful for people whose disability makes leaving the house a physically and/or emotionally taxing task.

If you have impaired hearing, anxiety or social phobia, mobility issues, or limited transport, the flexibility of going virtual can better support your needs.

It’s designed to provide important information in an environment which feels safe and comfortable for you, without the stress or inconvenience of an in-person discussion.

How do I access Virtual Feros Fridays?

All you need to do is click on the green “we’re online” button at the bottom right of the screen.

From there, a virtual chat can be organised if you prefer a face-to-face experience (from the comfort of your home), or if you’re happy with a phone call, that’s absolutely fine too. It’s all about what works for you.

Let Virtual Feros Fridays help you understand the NDIS and answer any questions.

No appointments. No need to come in. No worries!
