Care@Home Pro Alarm Kit

The Care@Home Pro includes 24/7 emergency response monitoring, a base alarm unit, a standard emergency pendant, five passive infrared sensors and two door sensors. This alarm is designed for a single home, alerts are generated when the user deviates from their predicted behaviour.

Care@Home Pro offers a seamless health monitoring experience to ensure your loved one’s safety and your peace of mind. The use of extensive sensors and intelligent algorithms acts as a complete safety net, and in-depth monitoring allows family members to assess risks earlier and prevent accidents and unnecessary hospital visits even more easily.

In the case of an emergency, our response centre can be notified by pressing the emergency button either on the unit, or on the pendant, or from a falls activation. One of our team members will communicate through the base unit to assess the situation, and call an ambulance to your home if necessary.

We are also able to help you set up rules on the device which will also notify our response centre. For example, our response centre can be notified when a door opens when it shouldn’t, or sensors are not triggering enough or are triggering too much.

What are the costs?

There are many ways to fund goods, equipment and assistive technologies. Depending on your circumstances, you may be eligible to include this program as a part of your Home Care Package, Commonwealth Home Support Program, Short Term Restorative Care, or other funding.

Alternatively, you can fund goods, equipment and technology purchases privately, with Feros Care team assisting you with sourcing and provisioning.

Do I require a clinical assessment?

Personal care equipment (e.g. shower chairs) may require an assessment from the relevant health professional before placing your order. This is to ensure that your individual needs and environment are considered.

If you have an occupational therapist or physiotherapist recommendation and require additional equipment, please advise us and we will be able to assist.
