Paulette Taylor started working at the onsite gym at Feros Village Wommin Bay almost a decade ago. Now, at the age of 80, she runs two gym sessions a week and another weekly Strength and Balance session.

Earlier this year, Feros Care introduced its inaugural work experience program in South Australia. The program is designed to build confidence, empower individuals with a disability to pursue employment opportunities, and set them up with the tools to thrive in their line of work.
Addrian Carelse is passionate about many things. He loves fishing and the outdoors, describing himself as a dedicated ‘sun-chaser’. He loves spending time with his beautiful wife, whom he also supports in a carer capacity. And last but definitely not least, he loves his job as a Community Support Worker at Feros Care, where he makes a real difference in people’s lives every single day.
One thing’s for sure, when you look at nursing student Zahra Fox, the words ‘aged care’ don’t exactly spring to mind. Eclectic, yes. Cool, for sure. Edgy, most definitely. Aged care worker…not so much. But, this bright haired, keyboard playing, snowboarding enthusiast is a part time residential care worker at Feros Care’s Bangalow Village. And in her words, she “wouldn’t be anywhere else.”
